Teaching-Healing Plants

Shamanic teacher plants are indeed a mystery and a paradox as somehow they not only affect the body and brain biologically and neurochemically but also affect the emotions, the mind and the soul by unknown means.  The use of visionary plants or plant teachers by shamans to unlock hidden resources is perhaps timeless.  Ayahuasca is an excellect teacher of the human condition because when it's ingested it immediately starts to work on the individual's emotional body, providing insights as well as visions relating to said individual's personal psycho-spiritual makeup.  Salvia divinorum on the other hand provides a multidimensional doorway into landscapes of the psyche and beyond. These experiences can not only serve as a prelude to what awaits us after the human experience but may also beneficially transform one's sense of being and the relationship one has with oneself and with the world around.
